In 2005, while pursuing a degree in Speical Education, I filled a position as Activity Assistant at Geneva Lake Manor. My background experiences have included working with the mentally challenged, special education students, chairing numerous fundraising events for people in need, and being civically active. As the current Activity Director at Geneva Lake Manor, I have found my niche in life. Nurturing the spirits of our residents has proven to be the most rewarding work I have ever done. I look forward to each day and the challenges presented in trying to provide a stimulating environment for a diverse population of individuals dependent on my team for life's simplest pleasure — something to do!
